Ipad Mini Accessoriiiiize
Raw materials are among EVERYTHING that is aesthetically pleasing about products/ construction/ furniture etc. I happened upon this gem whilst searching for the perfect sleeve for my iPad Mini. Roma and Alona from Berlin, Germany created TheNavis on Etsy. They use felt and contrasting leather for their products. I’ve grown a liking to this particular one, but they all look good. Hit the link to check out color combos and other designs they’ve got for your Mini. “Arrow” $59
Happy Dirty 30 Mike
Our close friends got together for a couple drinks at the new Firefly. Despite the salmonella outbreak they had at their old location this past summer, we came, we drank, we ate.
These bad boys came in today! The Timberland Abington Boot. They collaborated with Woolrich®, who designed the upper ankle and tongue portion with their trademark quality wool in a grey, red and green pattern. The packaging was art —matte black tissue with gold sketches of shoemaking materials and the great outdoors. The detail placed into these boots define the quality: double stitching, waxed laces, brown striped accents on the mid-sole and non-slip/mark rubber soles.
I saw these previewed back in August, slated for an October 2013 release. The style of the boot is what got me. I’ve always wanted a pair of Alden Indy Boots, but never wanted to shell out the $500+ for them (and those is gentlemen boots ya hurrrd?!) The fit on these are on point and they give me about an inch of height. I’m 5’10” and I have this irrational belief that 6’0” should be my standard……. - well, I lucked out on this last pair. It was meant to be.
